For Individuals

Ohio is finding new ways to support the health and wellness of its citizens. As a result, your Medicaid coverage may be changing.

New services may be available to you if you have high intensity needs. These services will support you in meeting your recovery goals.

A health care provider may contact you to help you understand these changes and determine your eligibility for new services. Here, we provide you with important information on this process.

Your Behavioral Health Medicaid benefits may consist of these services, plus those marked as new:

  • Assertive Community Treatment for Adults (new)
  • Assessment
  • Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST)
  • Comprehensive Addiction Treatment Services
  • Counseling
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Day Treatment
  • Family Counseling (new)
  • Intensive Home-based Treatment for Youth (new)
  • Primary Medical Care – office visits, vaccinations, blood tests, etc. may now be given by your behavioral health provider (new)

Continue seeing your health care providers. Ask about new services available to you after January 1, 2018.
